Booking Conditions
1. When a person submits the booking form, he/she does so on behalf of all the individuals included on it, such that all are bound by the booking conditions described here.
2. A 30% deposit is required and should be sent with a completed booking form. Acceptance of this deposit will be confirmed in by writing (e-mail or fax) at which time a contract with thaisouth.com becomes effective. This contract is governed by Thai law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Thai courts.
3. Final payment for all trips is due 30 days prior to the trip departure date. If your balance is not paid as specified above, Nature Thailand reserves the right to cancel a booking, unless otherwise arranged in writing. Payments can be made by bank remittance or major credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
4. Any cancellations by the client must be made to thaisouth.com in writing or by e-mail. At the time we receive the communication, the following cancellation charges will apply.

5. thaisouth.com reserves the right to cancel a tour, field trip or expedition in the event that less than the minimum number of required persons have signed-up.
If thaisouth.com is forced to cancel a tour, expedition or field trip for any reason other than "force major" (war, threat of war, civil or political unrest, act of god, adverse weather conditions, strike, etc.), we will provide a full refund of any monies paid. In the event of force major, any reasonable costs incurred by thaisouth.com will be deducted from your refund. All refunds will be restricted to monies actually paid to Nature Thailand, and in no case will the company be responsible for additional expenses incurred by the client (e.g. airfares, visa fees, insurance premiums, etc.).
6. thaisouth.com reserves the right to amend without prior notice prices of tours, field trips or expeditions as a result of factors beyond the company´s control (e.g. changes in exchange rate, increase in government imposed fees, etc.), even after the client has entered in to a contract with thaisouth.com. The company will however do its best to limit any increases and will inform the client of such increases not less than 15 days from the trip departure date.
Should any price increases exceed 10% of the total cost, the client is free to cancel the booking and will obtain a full refund of all money paid to thaisouth.com. However, no additional charges will be made following the above mentioned notice periods.
7. Adequate medical and accident insurance is the responsibility of the client. It is recommended that you get a suitable travel insurance to fully cover you against repatriation and the cost of evacuation from remote areas.
8. The client is responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance for personal possessions. thaisouth.com will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal possessions, unless as a direct result of negligence.
9. The trip leader has the right to disqualify anyone at any time during the trip if the trip member is considered incapable of undertaking the trip, or performs an illegal act during the trip, or in the opinion of the trip leader is acting detrimentally to the safety and welfare of the group.
10. thaisouth.com provides programmes in wilderness areas. Upon completing and submitting the booking form, the client acknowledges that he/she is voluntarily participating in a trip which involves various risks and dangers. thaisouth.com will not be held responsible, unless as a direct result of negligence, for any mishap to the client or his/her property.
12. Clients are fully responsible for ensuring that they are fit to undertake the trip, and thaisouth.com assumes no responsibility regarding the provision of medical care. All clients are required to complete a Health Certificate prior to a trip. If the client is over 70, thaisouth.com requires a doctor to sign this certificate.
13. The client is responsible for ensuring the provision of all relevant travel documents
14. Under no circumstances will thaisouth.com be held responsible for any wildlife mentioned in the company´s documents that is not actually viewed by the client. |
